Health in the home

Laminate floors are low on emissions and allergens and ensure a pleasant indoor climate. They demonstrate this by only using materials that are healthy for the home. Test certificates issued by the LGA and Blue Angel can give our customers the required peace of mind. Furthermore, increased conductivity reduces electrostatic charge. Laminate flooring is very durable and easy to clean, meaning that it is perfectly suitable for households with pets, children and allergy sufferers.

Laminate flooring has long since freed itself from its natural predecessor, engineered wood – not least because of its high resilience and easy maintenance, which also makes it suitable for heavy duty demands in intensively used rooms. These days laminate flooring is experiencing a higher level of durability than ever and is seen as a worthy alternative to real wood floors. Laminate floors can now produce authentic interpretations of high quality timbers and also transform into other classic materials like stone and concrete. What's more, imaginative graphic motifs and decors from reputable international designers allow us to open up fascinating new design options.

Material

Laminate flooring is made almost a hundred per cent out of HDF. Together with the high density fibreboards, the decor papers enable high quality timbers to be copied authentically. But other materials, such as stone or concrete, can also be found among our true to nature laminate decors with their different formats, installation and joint patterns.

Technology

Laminate floors are distinguished by a functional composition and intelligent technology. For example, their patented click system guarantees easy installation, edge impregnation protects against moisture, and the wear-resistant top layer made of melamine resin ensures very high durability. Compared to laminates of years ago when the quality was questionable and the colours were all the same laminates have achieved a higher level than ever before.

Wooden floor

Combining the appearance of natural wood with an MDF or HDF backing, laminate flooring is a product that brings together the synthetic and the natural, making it a firm and solid flooring surface that can look just like a hardwood.
